Simple Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 package Lipton Beefy Onion Soup
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 1 can corn
  • 3.5 cups mashed potatoes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F
  • Brown the ground beef in a medium skillet. Drain excess oil and return meat to skillet.
  • Add one packet of Lipton Beefy Onion Soup and 1.5 cups of water to the beef mixture. Bring to a boil and then simmer for five minutes.
  • Pour beef mixture into the bottom of a 9" casserole pan.
  • Layer one can of corn over the beef mixture.
  • Top the corn with the mashed potatoes. Spread them in an even layer.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until gravy is bubbling and potatoes are slightly brown.
